What books or resources has inspired you lately?
A post Neolithic best seller. In that book, they associate the consumption of the fruit of the tree of knowledge and the difficulties of human birth.
What sparked your interest to speak at the BirthWorks Conference this year?
I am 89 this year and I don’t know how many times I’ll do it again.

If you were given the power to change only one aspect of birth in American culture today… what would it be?
We are in the age of globalization. American births are not special.
